TrailAir Flex Air Pin Box Recommendation to Replace Worn Out Tri-Glide

Question:

Can the lower jaw from the tri glide of a L05 18,000 lb. which replaces standard Lippert 1621 pin box, be upgraded with the lower jaw from LC328492? Reason being is that the steel rollers on my tri glide are worn out and the king pin plate is wearing on the lower jaw, yes I grease all 9 zerks religiously. It may be more cost effective to just replace the jaw, the air bag and shock look the same as well as the main portion of the pin box. If not then I will have to replace the entire pin box.

You are going to need to replace the entire pin box. The Tri-Glide was notorious for needing quite a bit of maintenance with the rollers and even if kept up can still wear out. That is part of the reason why it was replaced with the Flex Air.

The Flex Air # LC328492 that you referenced will fit your trailer and will work just as well as the Tri-Glide in terms of cushioning the ride and due to it's design will not require the same amount of maintenance.
