Your 2013 Honda CR-V has a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds and tongue weight capacity of 150 pounds. Consult the owner's manual to confirm. If loaded to capacity the trailer would weigh 2,700 pounds which is too much for the CR-V. If the trailer weighs 900 pounds then the most weight you could put in it would be 600 pounds because that would get you to 1,500; the max for the vehicle.
For a trailer hitch I recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 36520. For the appropriate ball mount use # 36051. For a 2 inch ball I recommend # 19258.
You will also need a trailer wiring harness to tow the rental trailer. I recommend Tow Ready harness # 118561. It will provide a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle to operate the trailer lights. I have included some links to videos showing example installations of the hitch and wiring for you.
