Bike Racks That Allow Cargo Area Access for 2013 Chevy Equinox
Question:
Will the Th9058 fit 2013 equinox. 1.25 factory hitch. Will be carrying a girls bike . do I need an adapter? Can I tilt the rack back with bikes on to lift back door. Travelling Florida to Ontario with dog in back. Thoughts on 2 bike vs 3 bike rack? only have 2 bikes but in case problem with straps already have extra set to use. ?

The Thule Camber # TH9058 bike rack will indeed fit your 2013 Chevy Equinox.
For Girls or Women's bikes, I highly recommend using an adapter bar like the reasonably priced # 64005. Carrying the bike in a tilted position would be awkward and will lower your ground clearance.
You could also take a look at the the Swagman Trailhead, part # S63360. The Trailhead provides anti-sway cradles that prevent the bikes from swaying back and forth, and it has strong rubber retaining straps.
Keep in mind, you wouldn't be able to carry more than two bikes if your hitch is a Class I. You'll need to check out the sticker affixed to the hitch to determine if it's a Class I or II hitch.
Both the Thule rack you mentioned, and the Swagman Trailhead bike racks can be tilted rearward for better access to the rear of the vehicle, but you'd need to remove the bikes first. For a rack that would tilt rearward with the bikes still in place, I'd recommend the Curt Platform Rack, part # C18085, although it's a more expensive option.
I've linked you to some product demonstration videos that you might find helpful.
