Fitment of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch on a 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with Single Exhaust

Hi - What set-up do I need for my 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, single exhaust, 2.5L ? I already own a Carry-On Trailer: Item # 4x6G, 2000 lb. GVWR - Mesh Floor Trailer. Will it fit your set-up? Thanks

Yes, the Draw-Tite hitch you were looking at # DT24959 will fit your 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport.

To tow a trailer like you mentioned you will also need wiring, a ballmount, and a ball for your hitch.

The wiring harness for your vehicle is the Curt # C56111, this is a plug and play harness that will connect behind the taillights of your vehicle and provide you with a 4 pole end to connect to your trailer's lights.

According to the information I was able to look up on your trailer you will need a ball that has a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball like # 19256. This will mount nicely into the included ballmount from Hidden Hitch or the # 3593 ballmount recommended for the Draw-Tite Hitch.
