How to Wire Factory Brake Controller Pigtail-2015 Ford F150 to Old Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller
Question:
I have a older Primus brake controller and would like to use it on my new Ford 2015 F-150 with tow package. The wires on the factory harness are marked ground, feed wire from battery, to trailer electric brakes, and stop lamp. The harness to brake controller is black, red, white, and blue wires. Can you tell me what these wires and the truck harness hook up is? Thanks

Your factory pigtail wire would wire up to your Primus brake controller as follows:
Controller black wire connects to pigtail wire labeled 'feed wire from battery'
Controller red wire connects to pigtail wire labeled 'stop lamp'
Controller white wire connects to pigtail wire labeled 'ground'
Controller blue wire connects to pigtail wire labeled 'electric brakes'
