Troubleshooting Brake Controller Not Showing Connection on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe

Question:

I recently added a Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller along with the 3025-P harness on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. The Controller powers up but just displays 2 dots. The Cargo trailer is a brand new Snapper 7*12 trailer. All of the lights are operational, yet the Controller isnt recognizing the trailer. Any troubleshooting tips would be helpful. Is there a specific tester that you recommend to test the vehicle and or trailer. Thanks

Under the hood of your 2001 Chevy Tahoe is a few connections that will need to be made in order for the brake output circuit of the 7-way to be connected to the brake controller.

If you check out the link I attached you will see an article that will walk you through the process at Step 2.
