Brake Controller Install Recommendation for a 2013 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I am needing to wire in a controller. It is on a 2013 silverado. The instructions says to use a source on the fuse block that comes on in start and run that is capable of producing plus 20 amps. What would be a good source please help

For your 2013 Chevy Silverado there is brake controller wiring available under the dash.
Below the steering column, there is a bundle of wires tied together with white tape, located left of the brake pedal. This bundle of wires is the tow package for the brake controller. Carefully cut the white tape binding the wires, and pull the wires down from underneath the steering column.
You will use these wires to wire up the controller. There is a few connections that need to be made under the hood of the vehicle as well though. If you check out the help article and video I attached you will see how to do this.
