Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2015 Nissan Rogue and Saris Freedom SuperClamp 2 Hitch Rack
Question:
Why do the photos and the dimensions/distances look identical for all three of these hitches? They cant all be the same, can they? 36542 C12122 90236 I need a receiver that is not as recessed to fit our bike rack. It does not appear that any of these will work.

All hitches offered for your 2015 Nissan Rogue, whether they are a 1-1/4-inch Class II type like Curt # C12122 or a 2-inch Class III type such as # C13204, will install at the same points on the car's frame. They also have to fit around the vehicle's features such as it's exhaust. These things mean that hitches for any one given car will often tend to look a lot like one another. In fact, Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch are sister brands and their hitches are identical apart from branding.
All things being equal, I usually recommend going for a 2-inch hitch for it's generally higher weight capacity. The linked page will display all hitch options for your Rogue.
Tools required for installing each hitch are listed in the instructions. The only special tool needed is a torque wrench like # ALL944001.
The Saris Freedom SuperClamp 2 Bike Platform Rack EX # SA4025F that you referenced happens to fit both hitch sizes. This rack offers 12-inches of clearance from it's hitch pin hole to the nearest wheel tray. When we installed Class III hitch # 75902 on the 2015 Rogue we found the hitch pin hole was positioned 5-3/4-inches from the back edge of the bumper cover. This means the Saris Freedom EX rack will easily clear the car's bumper without contact. Draw-Tite # 75902 mounts in essentially the exact same spot.
