Recommended Trailer Hitch for Motorcycle Carrier on 2015 BMW X5 M
Question:
Looking for a 2inch Trailer Hitch setup for my 2015 X5 with M Package. I like to use a Motorcycle carrier with this so it needs to support 500lbs. I also dont want to have to cut in to the body. Please let me know what my options are. Thanks!

All the trailer hitches we offer for the 2015 BMW X5 would require that the rear bumper fascia be trimmed on the underside. I can understand not wanting to cut into the bumper fascia of your vehicle, but the good news is that the trimming is done on the underside of the fascia, and won't be visible from the rear of the vehicle, only from underneath.
I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75600 which has a 600 lb tongue weight capacity. Please note, the plastic push rivets included with the hitch aren't compatible with X5 models built after 2010, so you'll need to obtain the push rivets from your BMW dealer. The hitch will indeed fit vehicles with the 'M' package just fine.
In addition to using the motorcycle carrier, if you'll be towing with your hitch, you'll also need the following items to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 119250KIT
Ball mount, part # D-4
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball
Hitch Pin and Clip item # PC3.
I've linked you to install videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness.
