Heavy Duty Back Up Alarm Recommendation for Vehicle
Question:
Happy New Year Looking for a HD back up alarm I can easily install in my 2008 jeep wrangler and control the unit from the driver seat when needed. I have a yellow jeep and people do not seem to see me at times when I aa backing out of a spot etc. Would like to secure a unit I can easily instal and turn on and off when needed. Do you have the necessary hardware , switch and unit for my need? Also with easy directions to follow, as a DAV limited movement I have so ease of instal is important.

For an HD back up alarm you would want the Pollak Heavy-Duty Back-Up Alarm # PK41761 that is adjustable from 97 dB to 112 dB.
For a switch you would want the part # D16740 and then to install it you would just need to run a power wire to the switch and then to the alarm and then ground the ground post of the alarm.
You will need to mount the alarm underneath your vehicle pointing to the rear for maximum effect. We don't have specific instructions but it would basically be having to mount the alarm in the ideal spot on your vehicle and then wiring it up so that the switch is where you would like it.
