How Well Does the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera Work at Night

How does this work at night? I noticed that it does not have any LEDs etc so does it work well just with the reverse lights?

I actually owned a Hopkins Smart Hitch backup camera, # HM50002, for a little over a year and I never had any problems at night. The reverse lights on my vehicle at the time where at about the same level up from the ground as the camera and provided adequate light in the dark. Every vehicle is different though.

For a camera system that does have lights for night vision I recommend the Shift Hitch # 04928. The great thing about this system is that it does not have to be permanently installed so you could move it from one vehicle to the another without any issue.
