Roof Rack and Cargo Basket Recommendation for a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe with Raised Side Rails

I have a 2016 Santa Fe SE no sunroof, with the flush rails running front to back. I am looking to build a rack that will allow attachment/adjustment without being bound to the three sets of front and three sets of rear fixed-point mounting holes i.e., for applications that would require the bars to be set narrower than the innermost fixed mounting points. Does the Rhino Kit with the Vortex Aero Crossbars Aluminum - Black - 54inch Long - Qty 2 and Rhino-Rack SRB Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars Flush Factory Side Rails consisting of parts RRVA137B-2,RRSX032 allow such flexibility in placement? If it does not, can you recommend a model of legs and crossbars that would allow me to do this?

The Rhino Rack you referenced part numbers # RRVA137B-2 and # RRSX032 has been confirmed as a fit for your 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe with flush mounted side rails. However, this rack is also designed to fit the factory fixed points of the roof like the other racks. See install video.

You might be able to use a cargo basket like the part # TH859XT-8591XT for smaller items that you would need to carry on your roof if the you needed the narrower crossbar span for something small.
