Tire Chain Fit for a 2015 Ford Flex with 215/55-19 Size Tires
Question:
I read your response to the question about 20inch wheels, and Im hoping you can tell me about suitable chains or cables for my stock 245/55R19s. On a 2015 Edge. Have you heard any more from Ford? We signed a notice at purchase that informed us that Ford does not recommend chains, but is that because Ford hasnt tested/approved any yet? I cant imagine our AWD is so limited as to be restricted in snow. Thanks, in California

Since you said you are from California we are aware of the fact that there are several areas near you that require you to have tire chains in the vehicle, and in certain conditions have them installed on the car.
What you are going to have to do is contact a local Ford dealer in the area you plan to travel that requires chains and ask them what you are to do.
They may tell you that you can use a set of Class S chains that don't require as much inner wheel clearance like the Titan Chains part # TC2324 which have been confirmed to fit your tire size 245/55-19.
However, if they say that under no circumstances can they recommend chains then we can't safely say that you can.
