Installation Instructions and Tips for the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 13354 on a 2008 Acura MDX

Where can I find the installation instructions for attaching the receiver to 2008 Acura MDX? I would like to confirm I am capable of installing the hitch before purchasing.

It is a good idea to look over the instructions before purchasing a trailer hitch. That way you can be prepared with the correct install tools and will know what the process will require before getting under the vehicle. Installation of this hitch does not require drilling, welding or cutting of any parts on your vehicle. We have a video installation, (see link) for you to review also, on a similar vehicle.

The best recommendation I can make for ease of installation is to use a Battery Post and Terminal Cleaner - Wire Brush, item # DW00254, and some penetrating spray lubricant like the LubriMagic Green Series Biobased Spray Lubricant and Penetrant, item # L10442. Spray down the weld nuts at the hitch attachment points and then clean them thoroughly with the round wire brush so that the bolts will screw easily into the weld nuts.
