5th Wheel Trailer Hitch and Install Kit for a 2016 Ram 3500 Short Bed and No Prep Package

Is there a under the bed 5th wheel kit for a 2016 Ram 3500 with no prep package? I like that look better than the rails.

Yes, you can install an under-bed 5th wheel installation kit. For your 2016 Ram 3500 short bed without the factory prep package I recommend Demco install kit # DM8551006. When the hitch is removed the bed will be clear for cargo.
For a 5th wheel trailer hitch that fits this kit I recommend the Demco HiJacker auto-sliding 5th wheel trailer hitch # DM8550037. This hitch is rated for 21,000 pounds gross trailer weight. It slides automatically so you will not have to get in and out of the truck to operate the sliding feature. I have included a link to a video review of this hitch for you.
I also recommend adding a 7-Way trailer connector # PK11893-11932 in the bed of your truck. It will make hooking up the 5th wheel trailer easier. I have linked a video showing an example installation on a similar truck for you.
