Can Hopkins Electronics Backup Camera HM50002 Connect to Existing Vehicle Camera System

Question:

Dear Sir or Madam, Can this backup camera be mounted on the license plate frame of a 28foot travel trailer if the license plate mount is off center and connected to the tow vehicle with the screen in the tow vehicle? I would use it to back into camping sites but might also want to possibly use it to view traffic behind me when going down the road? Our Monaco Motorhome allows us to view traffic behind us and I find that especially useful when switching lanes in traffic. I would like to be able to do the same thing when pulling our trailer with our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Duramax pickup. If not, is there a similar product that does what I want? Please advise.

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner # HM50002 is a free-standing system that does not connect to any existing camera/monitor on your motorhome. This could be installed on an off-center license plate frame but a better option for your application is a wireless system like the # SH02DIGITAL system from Swift Hitch. This will provide more flexibility for the camera's position.

The # SH02DIGITAL offers wireless operation for easy installation, a 8-hour camera battery and night vision capability that lets you see up to 15' away in the dark. A wireless system will be easier to transfer between vehicles.
