Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2016 Cadillac CTS and 2 Bikes
Question:
I need to carry 2 bikes on my 2016 CTS. What bike carrier and trailer hitch do you recommend?

For your 2016 Cadillac CTS we have Class I trailer hitches with 1-1/4 inch receivers that would work well to carry 2 bikes. I recommend Curt trailer hitch # C11900. The installation will be a bit different if your Cadillac is the CTS-V model, but it will still use this same hitch.
For a bike carrier that is compatible with the Class I trailer hitch I recommend the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360. It holds 2 bikes, can tilt down, and has a rise in the shank for additional ground clearance. Since you are putting this on a Curt hitch, Curt requires you to add the stabilization strap like # 18050 to keep the warranty in force.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
