Trailer Hitch for a 2016 Porsche Cayenne and a 2 Inch Bike Rack
Question:
I have a receiver mounted bike carrier that fits in a 2 inch opening. Is there a compatible hitch for my 2016 Porches Cayenne?

Expert Reply:
Yes, all of the trailer hitches that fit your 2016 Porsche Cayenne are Class III hitches with 2 inch receiver openings. You can use any of them with your bike carrier including Curt hitch # C13116.
But Curt says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements.
If you do not want to have to use a strap I recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75950. It does not have the strap requirement.
