Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard RM-4000 Recommendation
Question:
I am considering the purchase of the RM-4000. I currently have a rock guard that is 30 inches in height as opposed to the 26 inches of the 4000. This would leave a fair amount of my hood front exposed. Should I see this as a disadvantage as compared to the taller guard with more protection or has your RandD determined this is sufficient?

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000 is a great choice for a way to protect the front end of your vehicle as it is being flat towed. This one may not be as tall as the one you currently have but due to how close the towed vehicle is to the tow vehicle the taller guard would not be necessary.
The rocks that would end up thrown from your tow vehicle wouldn't end up high enough to clear this guard. It will work well for you. If you check out the reviews of this product you will see how well our customers like it. This product is also very lightweight so it is easy to install and use.
