Hitch Installation Hardware and Trailer Wiring Harness for 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country
Question:
I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country Your videos are awesome and extremely helpful. I just need to purchase just the bolts and washers to mount the the receiver. I was given the receiver , but the bolts are horribly rusty and I just want to start with brand new hardware. Is it possible to purchase just the hardware and the the wiring harness #118354.

Yes! We can help you order replacement hitch installation hardware for the hitch you already have for your 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country. We can also get you set with a wiring harness.
For replacement hitch hardware use part # RHK. Just enter that part in our search field and press enter. Then click on the RHK. On the next page you'll enter your hitch part number and the manufacturer name. This should be noted on the safety/warning sticker on your hitch. This will tell us the exact hardware you need for installing the hitch. For reference I have linked a page showing all trailer hitches offered for your '97 Cherokee.
Note that all hitch hardware is single-use-only, and so you are wise to use new hardware to install your hitch. This will ensure it meets its specifications.
I have also linked a helpful article on hitch installation as well as a video showing Curt hitch # 13084 being installed on a 1997 Cherokee.
For a 4-pole wiring harness you can use part # 118354 from Tow Ready. This will install on the driver's side behind the tail light as shown in the linked video at the 1:16 mark.
