Skid Wheel Recommendation for 38 Foot 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Hello! I have a 38foot fifth-wheel with a 2inch receiver hitch that I bought from you guys...works great! for my bike rack. What skid wheels would you recommend for my rig? I read all the reviews and FAQs for this part number, but decided it was probably not right for me. Thanks for your help!

For your 5th wheel camper, I recommend the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979013. These skid wheels install to the frame of the camper rather than the trailer hitch. When the wheels are attached to the hitch, they can cause clearance problems and the hitch is the component that takes much of the force of the skid wheel. With skid wheels that are mounted to the frame you are less likely to damage the hitch. I have attached a review video of these skid wheels for you.
