Hitch Lock Recommendation for Wider Toyota 2 Inch Hitch

Question:

I just purchased a lock. Afterwards, I looked at the description of trailer hitch lock and measured my 4Runners stock trailer hitch receiver. I think its larger than 2.5 inches, so the lock might not fit my 4Runner. Do you have another one that will fit my 4Runner? Its almost 2 5/8 inches. Thank you,

For a hitch lock with enough inside span to fit your hitch you would want the # e98881 which has an inside span of 3-5/8 inches.

Some of the Toyota vehicles have hitches that wider than 2-1/2 inches. Some are 2-5/8 inches like what it sounds like you have on your 2003 Toyota 4Runner. This measurement needs to not include the collar around the end of the hitch opening, just the outside thickness of the hitch where the hitch pin slides through.
