Does the Install of Curt Hitch 13456 on a 2006 Land Rover LR3 Require Spare Tire Removal
Question:
Will a full-sized spare tire fit after installing the Curt Hitch #13456? I did read that on other year, make and models it does not, but did not see anything for 2006 LR3 SE.

Curt states that a full-sized spare will not fit on your 200 Land Rover LR3 with their hitch part # 13456 installed at the same time. You might consider tracking down a smaller spare so that you can still have a spare with this hitch installed.
We had the chance to install this hitch on a 2006 Land Rover LR3 just like yours. Check out the video I attached that will walk you through the install.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For trailer wiring you would want the part # C59496.
