Will 2 Kayaks Fit on the Yakima LongArm and 2016 Toyota RAV4  

Question:

I have a 2016 Rav4. Is it possible to carry 2 kayaks with this system? we have sit on top kayaksa little over 11 ft long.

The crossbar that comes with the Yakima LongArm # Y01149-1150 is 60 inches long so if the kayaks combine for a total width that is less than that they could both fit. But you also need enough space on the factory crossbars on your 2016 Toyota RAV4 so the kayaks are not hanging off the sides of the vehicle.

Also your RAV4 will need to have a 2 inch trailer hitch such as # C13149 to use the LongArm.

LongArm I also recommend tie down kit # Y04031 to secure the bows and sterns of the kayaks. Be sure to consult the vehicle owner's manual and/or Toyota for the weight carrying capacity of the factory roof rack prior to loading.
