Transmission Cooler and Install Fitting Recommendation for a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS
Question:
Hello Im wondering what transmission cooler kit you would recommend for a 2006 trailblazer ss awd. I will be doing some light to medium towing and it gets run really hard all the time 100 of the time. I want a kit that allows a clean install and if at all possible I would prefer not to cut my factory trans lines. I already have a cooler but the installation kit it came with requires that I cut my factory transmission lines so I guess I could use an install kit if u carry one specific to my vehicle. Either option would suit me just fine. Thanks for the info and have a great day

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class IV - Efficient , item # D13504, will work on your 2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS. Along with this cooler you will need the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for GM , item # D13018, since your TrailBlazer has the 6.0 Liter engine.
The fitting will allow the cooler to install without having to cut or flare any hard lines.
