What Bike Rack Solution do You Recommend for a 2007 Subaru Impreza with a Dealer Installed Spoiler
Question:
I am carrying 2 bikes and my vehicle is a 2007 subaru impreza 4 door with a dealer installed spoiler. What type of rack would you suggest for this vehicle? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Trunk mounted bike racks are test fitted on vehicles without any dealer or aftermarket modifications. A bike rack that fits a 2007 Impreza 4 Door with factory spoiler may not fit a vehicle with a dealer spoiler.
In this situation, you have two options, either a roof rack and roof mounted bike rack or a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack.
I always recommend going with a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack. I think a hitch is more subtle than a roof rack as far as aesthetics. Plus with a hitch you can use cargo carriers or even tow.
For a hitch I recommend the Curt part # C11497.
With one of these hitches, you can use any bike rack designed to fit a Class I hitch. Below, I have added a link to all of our Class I hitch racks with a 2-bike capacity. I really like the Thule Camber # TH9058. I linked a video of the Camber for you to check out.
If you can tell me more about what you are looking for in a rack, I can help you find something to fit your needs.
