Can a 8 inch Trailer Rim and Tire get Replaced by a 10 inch Rim and Tire  

Question:

My current Triton Enclosed snowmobile trailer has 215/60-8 tires with rims Can I replace them with 205/65-10 tires with rims Bolt pattern and Pilot size are the same on both sets of rims. Trailer is a 2011 Triton XT 10 foot enclosed Snowmobile trailer. The trailer has a Triton Dexter Axle #02360 Snow Axle Idler 2200 lbs. No. 9 it is an torsion axle. Thanks,

When going to a larger trailer tire size the biggest concern will be that you have enough clearance above the tire for additional height.

The height difference between the two sizes you have would be a little over 2 inches so you would have 1 inch less of clearance above the tire with the larger 10 inch rim.

From the pictures you submitted I can see you have a 5 bolt pattern which would indicate that you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern so a rim and tire like part # AM3H490 would be a great option.
