Brake Controller Wiring Harness for a 2015 Ram and a Tekonsha Brake Controller
Question:
I traded a 2010 Ram in on a 2015 Ram. Can I transfer my Tekonsha controller to my new Ram? Will I need a new adapter harness, and where is the factory plug under the dash? I dont see it, n dont know what color it is! It has the towing package on it.

You can move your Tekonsha brake controller from the 2010 Ram to your new 2015 Ram but you will need a different wiring harness. The 2015 Ram uses brake controller wiring harness # 3024-P.
It plugs into a factory connector located underneath the dash and to the right of the steering column, taped to another harness. It is also possible for the harness to be to the left of the steering column near the emergency brake pedal. The connector should be white.
I have included a couple of pictures pointing out the possible locations of the factory connector.
