Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Acura MDX with Naked Roof

Question:

Hi, Bought a Thule Summit Cargo box and have a 2011 Acura MDX w/a naked roof. Was considering the Thule Square bar rack system and notice there are some other options that are considerably less expensive. Do you know if I could attach the cargo box to the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with Crossbars - 54inch Long? If I do that, if/when I get a new car, can I just purchase new clamps and pads for the Rhino and continue to use the bars? Thanks for your help.

The Rhino Rack square crossbars would be compatible with the Thule Summit cargo box just like a Thule setup since the bars are the same dimensions.

For your 2011 Acura MDX the Rhino Rack that consists of part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK176 would fit and work well.
