Determining Correct Replacement Bearings and Seal for 2008 KZ Sportsmen Coyote Travel Trailer
Question:
I recently purchased a new to me camper. 2008 KZ Sportsman Coyote. How do I know what size bearing kit to purchase for it? The last owners did little to maintain the camper so I am sure they have never been touched.

The best way to determine the correct bearings and seal for your trailer is to remove the old bearings and check for the part numbers on the bearings. Finding the part numbers will help us find the exact replacement bearings.
If you are unable to find the numbers on the bearings, you will want to measure the spindle surface with a digital caliper, like # PTW80157, to determine the measurements for the bearings and the seals. Using the inner and outer diameter measurements is another great way to determine the correct replacement bearings.
I have attached a diagram showing where to measure the spindle to determine the correct replacement bearings and seals for you.
If you will let me know the part numbers of your bearings and seal or the measurements from your spindle, I will be happy to find the correct replacement parts for you.
