Can the Camera Angle Be Further Adjusted on Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera

Question:

I just bought and installed this product on a 2011 F-150 extended cab. I cant get the camera angled up high enough to show further behind the vehicle. In the monitor, the ball on my hitch is actually showing in the green zone, with the red zone being right up against the truck. Is there a way to adjust the camera up higher, or possibly remove the built in stop so I can angle the camera up higher?

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Hopkins backup camera system # HM50002. There are a couple of things you can try. First, you may be able to adjust the camera up higher where it attaches to the main body of the bracket. The brackets are fragile so you will need to be careful.

And you might be able to turn the whole assembly upside down. However, the ball will be even more in the way and the sensors could potentially detect the bumper.

Please note that any modifications made could void the warranty.
