Can the Tekonsha Wiring Adapter For Dodge Ram Be Used With All Tekonsha Brake Controllers
Question:
I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 with factory tow package. There is currently a Tekonsha Voyager installed. Will all of the new Tekonsha designs plug into the same harness used by the Voyager? Thanks

The wiring adapter for all of the Tekonsha brake controllers, including the Voyager # 39510, is the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Dodge # 3020-P.
Some of the older model Voyagers used an adapter that did not plug into the back of the brake controller, but spliced into the wires at the back of the Voyager. As long as the wiring harness you have has plugs on both ends, like the # 3020-P, it will be compatible will all Tekonsha brake controllers.
I have attached an installation video of the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 being installed on a 1999 Dodge Ram using the # 3020-P wiring adapter for you.
