Reese Fifth Wheel Slider Recommendation for Reese Head and Support RP30047A
Question:
i have a reese square tube slider 30032 and 30038. i have a 15k head on there now. the support is 33 in wide. i ordered a new 16k head and support, but the support is only 24 in wide. can i move the existing slider legs closer together to fit the new support? the alternative would be to use the old support with the new head

Looks like you ordered the part # PS30854 and it is too narrow to fit your current Reese slider.
It also sounds like you have an older model slider that is too wide to use with your new head and support. The best recommendation I can make is to go with a new slider like part # RP30048 which will fit your new head and support assembly.
