Have Reese 30047 puting in 1998 Chevy 8 ft bed what are mesurment from rear bed to rails to put in 5 wheel

To install a set of fifth wheel rails like the # RP30035 in the bed of your 1998 Chevy truck with an 8 foot bed you will need to measure 30-15/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed forward. That will be where the rear edge of the rear rail will sit. The front rail will be 22 inches measured on center in front of that rail
