I am using part C51500. I have wired exactly the why the diagram describes. But you can hear the 30 amp breaker auto resetting. What am I doing wrong?

I called my contact at Curt and they told me you should never hear the circuit breaker resetting for a couple reasons.
The breaker would only reset if there is an excessive draw on the system causing it to reset. I would check to make sure it is secured close to the battery as the instructions state and that all of the wiring is secured in place and there is no other draw on the system. My contact said they have not had anyone complain that the circuit breaker is making any noise.
If you find it is the source of the noise and everything has been checked and is installed properly I recommend replacing the circuit breaker.
