If you have access to a jack and jack stands, it may be easiest to run the power wire underneath the car then up into the engine bay. Lift up the carpet covering the trunk well. You should be able to find some black rubber grommets or plugs. Poke a hole or cut a slit in one of these then you can run the wire underneath the car, then up to battery.
You can also feed the wire underneath the carpeting and door sill covers and run it up to the firewall, then through into the engine bay. This method will take more time and will require removing and re-installing some interior carpet or panels.
