Can E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System Work With Tires That Are Spaced 2.5 Inches Apart

Question:

I think this EZ-Flex part # K71-652-00 will fit my trailer, but when that rubber spring gets compressed doesnt it reduce the vertical tire clearance? I only have 2.5inch now with a fixed equalizer and am worried about any further reduction and tire rubbing on rough roads.

The E-Z Flex, # K71-652-00, is meant to replace equalizers that range from 5-1/4 to 6-1/4 inches long measured from eye center to eye center and axles that are 33 inches apart on center and up to 6,000 pounds capacity.

If this is what you have then this kit will work for you. The E-Z Flex will only compress about 1 inch at most so you would be good to go as long as you fit the other criteria mentioned.
