Fuse Bypass Wires Do Not Seem Very Secure in 2013 Honda CR-V Fuse Panel

Question:

I have installed the fuse bypass in my 2013 CRV. The spade connectors are installed in the slots of the Micro Fuse panel but are not very solid. The one on the top is pretty secure but the one on the bottom just doesnt seem to be seated very well. It is working but I worry that it could vibrate loose disabling the radio or worse cause a heat ussue due to a bad connection. Do you or anyone you know make an adapter that would plug into the micro slot but provide connections for the spades that are really made for a mini fuse?

You really don't have anything to worry about because while you are flat towing your 2013 Honda CR-V power to that fuse will be shut off. Should the connectors come out it would not matter since there is no power to that fuse.

But when just driving the vehicle it could be an issue should the wires come out. You might be able to get a better connection if you can get some of the other fuses out of the way so you have room to work the terminals in better, then put the other fuses back. Our installer used some needle nose pliers to get the terminals in. Take a look at the video I have linked.

Maybe even something as simple as a solid piece of tape across the bypass wires so that they can't back out.

Consult your owners manual because I do believe that you only have to pull that fuse if towing for 8 or more hours straight.
