What is the Proper Way to Wire a 4-Way Trailer Connector on a 2004 Cadillac SRX
Question:
Is there an easier way to tap into the tail lights on a 2004 Cadillac SRX? According to Chiltons manual we have to dissamble interior panels and several other procedures to get to the tail lights which are tower LEDs.

The 2004 Cadillac SRX is a hard-wire application. You have to splice into the wires ran for the tail lights and run a wire up to the vehicle battery. I imagine the Chilton manual has it right. The wiring kit you will need is part # C59496. It includes a power Modulite that combines the separate turn and brake light signals and pulls power from the battery since the tail lights have limited power because they are LED.
