Question:
I would like be able to use 1 controller Prodigy 90885 for both my 2011 Silverado and 2011 Tahoe. Are there harness plug ins for the controller and each vehicle for quick release instead of using butt end connectors ? Thanks

I have a solution for you, but you will have to install a universal brake controller wiring harness on each truck. GM did not use brake controller plugs on those trucks, but installing a harness on each truck will give you the quick release feature you are looking for.
The Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, comes with one universal wiring harness, so you will only need one additional harness. I recommend using part # 7894. Both trucks will have the factory brake controller wires under the dash, so you just have to look for a bundle of wires to the left of the steering column and brake pedal. There will be a white tag that give the color and function of each wire. The truck wires will connect to the brake controller wires as follows:
Truck Wire to Brake Controller Wire
Red to Black
Dark Blue to Blue
Light Blue to Red
White to White
I have attached a help article that explains this installation. If the brake controller does not have power after the installation, then you may have to make a few more connections under the hood. There will be a wire with a ring terminal between the power distribution box and the driver's side fender. It may be taped to another wire. The wire with the ring terminal should be ran to the left stud on the front of the power distribution box and there should be a 30-amp J-Case fuse in fuse slot 63.
If there is no wire connected to the right stud, then you may want to make that connection because that will connect the battery charge wire to the trailer connector at your bumper. This wire is located to the left of the power distribution box under the brake booster. You should also have a 40-amp J-Case fuse in fuse slot 68. This will apply for both trucks.
