Recommended Trailer Hitch And Bike Carrier For 2010 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Will a bike rack fit on a 2010 RAV-4? Do you happen to have a 4-bike rack that will mount to a 2010 RAV-4 without a trailer hitch?

Since you want to carry 4 bikes on the back of your RAV4 I recommend using a trailer hitch and then a hitch mount bike carrier.
The trailer hitch I recommend is the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C13149. This is a Class lll trailer hitch and it has a 2 inch receiver opening. When installed the center of the hitch pin hole is 3-3/4 inches to the back of the rear bumper and 6 inches to the back of the rear-mounted spare.
Then I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro, part # TH934XTR. This carrier can hold 4 bike that weigh up to 35 lbs each and the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar on the carrier is 13-1/2 inches, giving you plenty of clearance at the back of your vehicle. This carrier also tilts when empty, giving you access to the rear cargo area of your RAV4.
We do not offer any trunk mount bike racks that can carry 4 bikes. With the rear-mounted spare tire it would certainly interfere with a trunk mount rack.
When carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
