Question:
I have a 2008 Ford E350 van. I have located the plug next to the kick panel on the inside to connect the controller, but I am having trouble finding the other end to wire to the 7 blade trailer connector.

If your 2008 Ford E350 van did not come with a factory 7-way, but only had a factory flat 4-pole connector, you will need 7-way adapter # 37185 to complete your wiring for Prodigy brake controller # 90885. Your 4-pole will plug into the mating connector on the adapter and the remaining three wires will need to be connected to activate those additional functions - trailer brakes on the blue wire, 12V power on the black wire and reverse light signal on the purple wire (if you need this function) The white ground wire with ring terminal also needs to be secured to the vehicle metalwork.
You can use wire # 10-2-1 (sold by the foot) to connect the 7-way to the output from the brake controller and to the battery via a 40-amp breaker # PK54540. You'll sever the blue wire at the back of the controller a few inches from it and splice in the white wire from the length of 10-1-1 and run it through existing wiring grommets in the firewall to the yellow butt connector on the 7-way's blue wire.
The 12V trailer power circuit also needs to be run and you'll use the black wire in the duplex cable to connect the 7-way to the circuit breaker and then to the battery positive terminal. The linked video will illustrate.
