Trailer Hitch and Wiring Installation Difficulty and Details for a 2010 Chevy Traverse
Question:
I need to have a hitch installed on my 2010 Chevy Traverse, however I am not the handiest guy, Does this hitch require any drilling or remooving any parts from under my Traverse and how easy is the light kit to install. Thanks for the help.

We have a difficulty rating system based on how long it would take the average person to install a hitch. For the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75528, and your 2010 Chevy Traverse, we rate the difficulty at a 3 out of 10 meaning it should take about 30 minutes.
There is no drilling required. You will have to temporarily detach the rubber exhaust hangars to put the hitch in position. I can tell you that with the proper tools, and someone to help you lift and position the hitch, this is a pretty easy installation compared to some of the others I have seen. I have included a link to the installation instructions below and a video install on a similar vehicle.
The installation of the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118450, is even easier. This is a T-one style connector that plugs in line with your vehicles taillights. Connection points are located behind the taillights. I have included a video that shows the installation of this wiring harness on a similar vehicle. Installation on your Traverse will be very similar.
