Does Wiring Harness Installation in 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagon Void Vehicle Warranty

Has anyone determined if the warranty is negated by installing this kit on a 2014 Jetta Sportwagon?

Vehicle warranties fall under the authority of a federal law called the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. The act states, in part, that your warranty must still be honored unless the part installed actually caused the malfunction.

The Curt wiring harness # C59236 that you referenced is a powered trailer taillight harness, just like the # C59496 which is the harness recommended for your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen. Both of these are hardwired installations that require cutting and splicing into your car's wiring. A plug and play type of harness is not available.
