Do Diamond # DI34ZR Load Resistors Get Hot
Question:
Dear Etrailer, Ineed the following product to stop the hyperflash turn signal problems Ive with my 2007 Dodge Durango: * Putco Accessories and Parts - P230004C-2 * I would Like to confirm if these products get really hot and do I have to fix them to metal just like the normal 50W load resistors. Thank you and I look forward to response. Kind Regards, Krigbo

Load resistors can reach between 140-160 degrees Fahrenheit. Therefore, mounting them to a plastic surface wouldn't be a good idea. Mounting them to a metal surface is recommended.
