Is The Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118552, Needed On a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan WithTow Package

I purchased my 2010 Grand Caravan with the factory tow package. This includes a wiring harness that seems from what I can tell to duplicate some of the wires in this package. Have you experienced hooking up this package to a DGC with the factory towing option?

If your 2010 Dodge Caravan already has a factory 4-Way trailer connector on the rear of your vehicle then the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118552, is not needed, unless you are having problems with the factory connector.

If you do not have the factory 4-Way on your vehicle, then you would use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118552. It will provide the 4-Pole trailer connector that your 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan would need.

We have installed many of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harnesses on the 2008 and 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country vehicles.

It also has a powered taillight converter that reduces the strain on your vehicles wiring system by drawing power for your trailer lights directly from the vehicles battery.

I am sending a link to the installation instructions on the wiring harness and a video link to this same wiring harness being installed on a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan.
