Is MagnaFlow Exhaust System # MF16687 for 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe a Direct-Fit Installation
Question:
Ive been trying to find reviews for this system and have found some mixed feedback. On person said that the part didnt fit properly they had to shave the catalytic converter pipe and cut the bumper. They also said the system gargles and shakes at a sustained 35-40 mph. At idle they said it shook and sounded rough. They mentioned that one needs a magnaflow catalytic converter for proper fit of the product. I believe this person installed it themselves. Some, on the other hand, say it is a great part and purchase. They do not mention any of the troubles of the previous review. Ive listened to audio samples of the installed part online, and in my opinion it has the best tone out of all catbacks for my civic. My question is this: is this part a direct fit? My 07 civic ex coupe is completely stock.

I checked with my trusty technical contact at MagnaFlow about the fit of their 100-percent stainless steel exhaust kit # MF16687 on your bone-stock 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Thanks for the picture!
This kit IS a direct fit product that does NOT require you to make modifications or add other products. I am told that they have sold several hundred of this kit in the last 2 years with no reports of installation issues, apart from a need for a replacement ring clamp in two cases.
