What is the Reverse Light Wire on the Hopkins Molded Trailer Wire Connector # H20046
Question:
I have a reversing solenoid on my trailer actuator. Which wire from the molded plug goes to the solenoid?

Expert Reply:
If you will be using the Hopkins Molded Trailer Wire Connector, # H20046, then the yellow wire will attach to the wire from your reverse lockout solenoid. The yellow wire is attached to the center pin on the connector and the center pin in the trailer connector on your tow vehicle is for the reverse lights. Once the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the solenoid will close.
I have attached a table that shows all of the wire functions for this molded trailer connector.
