Recommended Trunk Mount Bike Carrier For 2015 Infiniti Q60

Question:

I was wanting to add a hitch to my 2015 Infiniti Q60. The Q60 is very similar to the G37, and I was seeing if this hitch Curt Trailer Hitch - C11493 would work? I only intend to use the hitch for the bike rack. Also that this bike rack Kuat Hitch Bike Racks - B202-114 would be compatible with the hitch? Thanks!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11493 is the only hitch available for the 2015 Infiniti Q60, but it will only work if your Q60 is a coupe. The Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches - Tilting # B202-114 would fit great on this hitch.

If you don't have a coupe, then I do have a solution for you to be able to carry bikes.

I recommend the Thule Gateway Pro 2-Bike Rack, part # TH88VR. This is a trunk mount rack that has a 70 lb weight capacity for 2 bikes. This rack is held in place with 6 nylon straps and cam buckles.

When carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
