The key to selecting a weight distribution (WD) and sway control system for your 27-foot trailer is to measure your fully loaded, ready-to-tow, tongue weight (TW) using a scale like the etrailer # e99044 or by one of the methods shown in the linked article. You also need to add in the weight of anything in the truck that sits behind the rear axle, such as a generator or loaded cooler. You want this total TW to fall into the middle of the operating range for a WD system so that it can move some TW forward to the Silverado's front axle without being so stiff that it creates weird handling.

You can use the linked page to select a WD system based on your total TW. Click on your total TW figure to see systems rated properly for your trailer.

For example, if your trailer has electric brakes you can use Reese Strait-Line trunnion bar system # RP66084, or if you have surge brakes you can use # EQ37120ET. Both include the required shank so all you need to add is the hitch ball, either 2-inch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16-inch ball # 19286.
